1. The Main Tourist Spots of Bangladesh
Bangladesh is a land of natural beauties. There are many tourist spots in our country and they are attractive and enjoyable to see. Cox’s Bazar, the Saint Martin’s Island, Sreemangal, Madhabkundu are the main tourist spots of our country. Cox’s Bazar is the most popular tourist spot in our country and it is the longest sea beach in the world. Sreemangal is a beautiful tourist spot which is full of tea gardens. Madhobkundu is famous for its beautiful waterfalls. Besides, there are Khagrachari Hill Tracts, Bagerhat Shat Gambuj Mosque, Mahsthangarh etc. We are really proud of these tourist spots.
2. A Race I Participated in (Model-9)
I took part in a race in the last annual sports of our school. It was 100 metre race. There were 20 competitors in the race competition. the race started when the referee blew the whistle. I ran as fast as I could. Finally I won the race. I was very happy to win the race.
3. Liberation War Museum
Liberation War Museum is an important place for our nation. There are many relics of our freedom fighters in this museum. The Liberation War Museum is situated at Agargoon, Dhaka. The museum was built to highlight the great scarifies of the freedom fighters and martyred intellectuals. There are four permanent galleries in the museum which exhibits rare photographs, documents and newspaper clippings, and objects used by the freedom fighters and the martyrs of our liberation war. The most remarkable galleries are Gallery-2 our Rights, Our Scarifies” and “Gallery2- our Victory, Our Value. it.
4. My Visit to the Liberation War Museum
Liberation War Museum is an important place for our nation. There are many relics of our freedom fighters in this museum. The Liberation War Museum is situated at Agargoon, Dhaka. Last month all the students of our class went there with our class teacher. We visited The Liberation War Museum to know the national history of Bangladesh. There are four permanent galleries in the museum. The most remarkable galleries are Gallery-2 our Rights, Our Scarifies” and “Gallery2- our Victory, Our Value. We saw rare photographs, documents, newspaper clippings of our liberation war. We also saw the personal belongings of our liberation war. Besides, we watched a video film there on our liberation war and independence. It is a great experience of my life. I shall never forget it.
5. My Food Habit

Food habits are the prominent habits in human life. Food habits differ from man to man, country to country. I always eat healthy food to keep my body fit. As a Banglalee I take three meals a day and eat many kinds of Bangladeshi foods. I usually take my breakfast with bread, egg, vegetables, and tea. For lunch, I take rice, fish, meat, vegetables, dal etc. For dinner, I take also rice, vegetables, fish, meat, dal, small fish, milk etc. Sometimes I like to eat polao and biryani.

6. Maria’s daily Life
Maria gets up early in the morning. She is a visually impaired girl. She walks using a long white cane.  She reads books using Braille.  Braile is a script that uses raised dots. Each letter is made from dots. There is not any problem. She is happy in her life.

7. Aila
Aila is the name of a cyclone and it is a natural disaster. It visited the coastal areas of Bangladesh on 25 May in 2009. It came with thunder and heavy rainfall. It blew houses, uprooted the trees, sank the boats and launches. Thousands of people died, became homeless, foodless and clothes. It also killed a lot of animals and damaged crops greatly. After Aila the Government and NGOs came forward to help the helpless people. They repaired their homes and rebuilt their villages and bridges. They painted new trees and new crops in their fields.
8. Experience of a storm
Bangladesh is a country of natural disasters. Every year some common natural disasters like floods, cyclones, tidal bores, excessive rainfall, and drought visit Bangladesh. Last year I experienced a violent cyclone. It was a terrible storm. In the afternoon the sky became full of black clouds. Suddenly the wind started to blow violently. It was hitting the doors and windows of our house. I felt very nervous and afraid. The storm uprooted a lot of trees and broke two of our windows. It was an awful night. I will never forget it from my life.
9. Natural disaster
Bangladesh is a country of natural disasters. Every year some common natural disasters like floods, cyclones, river erosion, excessive rainfall, and drought visit Bangladesh.  They cause heavy damage to our life and properties. They do harm to us by destroying our houses, crops, and tress. We have no power to stop the natural disaster. But we cane make the people aware of them by using our media. We should not worry much because we can prepare for natural disaster.
 10. The frog
The frog is a tailless short bodies animal. It usually lives both in water and on land. A frog makes the sound “ croak, croak. Its skin varies in colour. They eat flies, mosquitoes, moths (cÖZ½), grasshoppers and worms (wµwg).
11. My first camping trip as a cub scout
I made my first camping trip to Khagrachari as a cub scout. We made the trip on last January. At first we went to Chottogram by train. From there we had a bus journey to Khagrachari. Reaching there, we cleaned up the area, set up our tents and prepared our breakfast. We took a walk in the hills and learned about the trees and other things. We will never forget the visit as it was amazing.
12. A Great Experience / a memorable day or event of your Life
Every man has some special events and experiences in life. I have some events and experiences in my life.  Last year I got an opportunity to my first camping trip to Sreemangal as a cub scout and it was my first visit to a cub camporee. We were 10 members and two leaders. We travelled from Dhaka to Sreemangal by trains.  After reaching there we cleaned up the area, set up our tents and prepared our breakfast. After breakfast, we played games with cubs from other parts of Bangladesh and sang songs and recited poems. Besides, we visited Lowachara National park and went to the Nilkantha Tea Cabin to take tea. It was a great experience in my life.

13. The voice of Bluster
The voice of Bluster was very sweet. All other animals came to hear him when he sang. The animals talked and talked late into the afternoon. They made a plan to take Bluster’s voice. They decided not to tell the birds about it.
(14) My Home Town
The name of my home town is Kushtia.  It is a district town of Khulna division. It is a small town but very beautiful. It stands on the river of Gorai and its area is about 1621.15 square kilometers. About 15 lacks people live here and most of them are Muslims. It has six upozilas, 61 union parishads and 978 villages. It has one public university, one public medical college, many private schools and colleges.  Besides, there are big shopping malls, hospitals, clinics, temples, mills and factories etc in our district. Kushtia is the home of many famous poets, singers, actors and actress.  It is well-known to all for Shelaidaha Rabindro  Kuthibari and Lanon Shai Mazar. . In fact, I am very proud of my home town.
(15) A Fire Fighter
A firefighter is a trained person who puts out fire and save people from the fire. He works in the fire department. He plays an important role in putting out fire. He has official uniform, boots and helmet. He is always ready for any urgent call of fire. Though his main job is to put out fires, he also trains people to be firefighters. Sometimes he visits schools and other institutions and speaks about preventing fires. He also tells people what they should do at the time of fire. People should be physically fit, brave and careful to be firefighters. In fact, a firefighter is a protector of our society and so we should respect him for his noble work.                                                (16) Saint Martin’s Island
Bangladesh is a land of natural beauties. Saint Martin’s Island is one of them. It is the only coral island of Bangladesh and its local name is “Narikel Jinjira.” It has different shapes and colours which are very beautiful to see.  Besides, there are different kinds of sea fishes in this island and it has a tourist spot. It is 26 nautical miles away from Teknaf. Anybody can go there by sea bus.  As the Island is full of natural beauties, many tourists come to visit here every year.
17. Importance of good Food
Food is the most important basic need for us. Good food means the food which is good for our health. Good health depends on good food.  It is also essential for our body. Food gives us energy and makes our body active. So we should choose good food to keep our body fit. We should eat good food with all kinds of food value like vitamin, carbohydrate, protein etc. To keep our body fit we should healthy foods and avoid unhealthy foods.

18. Things to do if I get the Flu
Flu is viral fever. If get the flu, I have to do some certain things to get well soon. If I do not feel hungry,
l shall eat to get energy. I shall not go to school because I have take rest at home. I have to drink a lot of water and juice. I should wash my hands regularly and use separate plate, glass, cup so that other people can not catch my illness from these things. Besides, I must cover my mouth and nose with tissue at the time of coughing and sneezing.



19. My pen-friend (Model-5)
Friendship is nothing but a name. The friendship which is made by writing letters is called a pen-friend.
I have a pen-friend. The name of my friend is Riku. He is a Japanese boy. He lives in the city of Tokyo with his parents. His father is a public officer and his mother is a school teacher. He loves Bangladesh and her people. He wants visit Bangladesh very soon.

20. Flu
Flu is a viral fever. The symptoms of the flu are runny nose, headache a cough, a sore throat, chills, cold and fever. A flu-infected person needs to take rest at home. A flu-infected person feels very warm and uneasy. The advice of a doctor for a flu-attacked person is to take medicine, proper food and liquids accordingly.

21. My experience of having flue
.Flu is a viral fever. I experience the flue last month. It was a serious disease. I could not eat properly for this disease. I could feel a bad headache and a fever. Even my friends could not visit me because it was an infectious disease and they could get it easily.

22. A Fire I’ve witnessed (Model-6)
Fire is very destructive. Last year I witnessed a fire which took place before my eyes. I was going to school. On the way I saw a fire in my neighbour, Abul Hossen and shouted saying Fire! Fire! Many people come out to put out the fire. They fetched water from the nearby pond and threw it to the fire. At last the fire brigade came and put out the fire.

23. The role of firefighter
A firefighter is a person who puts on fire.  The role of a firefighter is to put fire and help other persons from fure. The qualities that a person needs to be a firefighter are bravery, carefulness, consciousness and sense of responsibility. He plays a vital role in our society to put out fire. We should realize the role of a firefighter.

(24) Leisure Time
Leisure time means one’s free time which refreshes one’s mind and makes one happy.  Every man has leisure time.  People spend their leisure time by doing different activities like reading, writing, drawing, singing, watching TV and gardening etc.  As I am a student, I have also leisure time. I spend my leisure time by reading story books, newspapers and painting. Sometimes I watch TV, play indoor and outdoor games. Besides, I also go out for walking and swimming. They keep me fit and strong. So, every man should enjoy leisure time by doing something.
(25) My Family
Every man lives in a family. So, I live in my family. I have a small family which consists of my father, mother, grandmother, my younger sister and myself. My father’s name is Md Abdul Jalil. He is a teacher. My mother’s name is Fatema Khatun.She is a housewife. My grandmother is about sixty but he is still active. She helps my mother in household works. My young sister reads in class three. She is very intelligent. We help each other in our work. Really we are a good and happy family.
(26) A Birthday
Birthday is a memorable day in one’s life. This is the day when someone was born. Children around the world have fun on this day. Last week it was my 9th birthday. I celebrated the day with my friends. My mother decorated my room nicely and cooked different kinds of delicious dishes. My father ordered a special cake. I invited some of my friends and relatives to join my birthday party.  All the guests came in the fixed time and my friends sang the birthday song “Happy Birthday to you,  Arif “ at the time of cutting the cake. My mother prepared delicious dishes. We enjoyed the food in joking, singing, dancing; etc and had a lot of fun. My birthday is one of the memorable days for me. Every year I enjoy this day.


(27) My evening activities/What I usually do in the evening
Every man does some activities in the evening. As I am a student, I have some activities in the evening. In the evening, I usually wash my face, hands and say my evening prayer. Then I take some light foods. After that I go to my reading room and study from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. After completing my study, I watch TV for a few minutes and then take my dinner with my parents. At 10.30 p.m. I go to bed.
(28) A Language Club
A Language Club is a place where different languages are taught, especially foreign languages. We have a language club named “Mentor” in our locality. It is located at Kataikhana moar in Kashia . We usually go there for practicing English and stay there for about 2 hours. It helps people to learn English and communicate with the foreigners. I think a language club plays a vital role for all the people. We listen to CD, watch movies on DVD or practice speaking English. The importance of the language club is obviously great. It makes easy to learn foreign language. So a language club is very important for us.                                          (29) Food   Pyramid
Food pyramid is a chart which helps us to understand the different food groups. This chart tells us how much of each group of food we should eat. Rice, ruti and bread are at the bottom of food pyramid which give us energy. Fruits and vegetables are in the next level of food pyramid which are very important and help our eyes and our health. On the next level there are fish, meat, dairy products, beans and lentils. Meat, fish and chicken have protein. Dairy and protein make us strong. Fat and oil are at the top of food Pyramid which make food delicious but those are not good for health. So, we need to have good choices about eating food.
 (30) A Visit Saint Martin’s Island
Bangladesh is a land of natural beauties. Saint Martin’s Island is one of them. Last summer vacation I went to visit St. Martin’s Island with my parents. Saint Martin’s Island is a small island.  It is the only coral island of Bangladesh and its local name is “Narikel Jinjira.” We saw beautiful coral of different shapes and colours in the blue water of the sea. We also saw coral reef, turtles and variety of sea fishes. The natural scenery of the Island is really enjoyable and it attracted me much. As the Island is full of natural beauties, many tourists come to visit here every year.

(31) Myself

I am Arif. I live in Kushtia. I am nine years old. I am a student. I read in class five. The name of my school is Kushtia Zilla School. My father’s name is Md Abdul Jalil. He is a teacher. My mother’s name is Fatema Khatun. She is a housewife. I have one brother and one sister. They both are students. I have a pet. It is a cat. I call it Mimi. It likes fish and milk. My favourite hobby is gardening and reading books. My favourite game is football.
